Change vibe cult

In corporate speak

Change slides across

The shining boardroom deck

Assuring kings and kingmen

Control of the future

Like a facelift

A slightly camouflaged

Selfishness lurks smiling

Counting newly minted

Narrative currency

The shift of gears on

Parroting the song

That progress usually sings

Your prince will come

One day at a cost

A new dawn manifestly

Lands without invitation

No solar chorus needed

Energy falls upon us

All we require is there

The new vibe directs

Our gaze and our ear

To the rhythms bubbling

Within the hearts

Of asset junkies

War might be needed

Hunger might be necessary

Denial is sometimes required

When time avails

We might get change

When you order at table

It is someone else’s recipe

That’s the deal

If you wanted something new

Best do it yourself
