The organ of affection

If I ask you

You are invited

Give me a signal

A smile or word

Or all of you

Lifted like love

Flying a tempestuous flutter

My eye darts dilated

Deeply into spaces of heat

Energy flows backwards inwards

Wrapping lies and figments

That push us into heaven

The garden we imagine

The end of light

An act of darkness

Embalming old feelings

In a new sparkling leaf

A leaf amongst leaves

A camouflage for love
